Vivid Sydney is coming back in September. The festival, which has been most anticipated by Sydneysiders, will have surprises aplenty to compensate for its absence last year. Vivid Lights is one of those annual events at the festival which adds to the festival’s outlook in leaps and bounds. Here is a brief look-see into how Vivid Lights will transform the harbour.
The event ports you into a wholly different world, with its magnificent facades of lights and colours seeping out of every nook and corner that you turn to. The large-scale installations, 3D-mapped projections and laser light shows on Sydney Harbour are something worth looking forward to. The Lighting of the Sails of the Sydney Opera House marks the beginning of the night. You can visit the Rocks to see the spectacular show at the Museum of Contemporary Art and other interesting installations for families and children.

This year, Vivid will feature an impressive line-up of both international and Australian talents, who will perform at all stages across the city.
