The Austral Floral Ballet is the brainchild of Chinese-American artist & filmmaker Andrew Thomas Huang and is a visually stimulating marriage of botany, contemporary dance (dancer Genna Moroni and choreographer Toogie Barcelo) and motion-capture technology (animation design team Bemo). The resulting display works the dynamic framework of the Sydney Opera House sails to create a magical ‘ballet’ of psychedelic floral deities coming alive with human movement.
